Important Information for Foreign Tourists (Travelers, Pilgrims)

Foreign tourists (travelers, pilgrims) are required, for lawful stay in the city of Uman, to pay a tourist tax in the amount of 5% of the minimum wage established by current Ukrainian legislation as of January 1 of the reporting year. This amounts to 325.00 UAH per day per person if they stay in hotels, hostels, hotel-type buildings, residential houses, extensions to residential houses, garden houses, apartments, cottages, rooms, or any other facilities used for temporary accommodation (overnight stay).

The tourist tax must be paid prior to check-in.

Children under 18 years of age are exempt from paying the tourist tax.

The tourist tax can be paid:

  • To the account of JSC CB "PrivatBank" using the following details: Recipient: UKP "Komunalnyk", EDRPOU code 03366285 Recipient's bank: JSC CB "PrivatBank", account UA713052990000026004021604570
  • Through self-service terminals and POS terminals;
  • In cash to tax agents of UKP "Komunalnyk" via a cash register;
  • Through the "Privat24" mobile app;
  • Via the service on the website of the Uman City Council: https://uman-rada.gov.ua

Please keep the document confirming payment of the tourist tax until the end of your stay in the city of Uman.

WE WARN that failure to pay the tourist tax may result in the guilty person being banned from entering Ukraine for a period of up to 3 years.
