Another Manifestation of Antisemitism in Social Networks Discovered in the Uman Region

Law enforcement officials have uncovered another case of antisemitism in social networks in the Uman area. A 60-year-old resident of Khrystynivka, Oleksandr Maksymenko, published discriminatory posts on the banned social network "Odnoklassniki" targeting the Jewish nationality, thereby humiliating the honor and dignity of its representatives.

Police initiated criminal proceedings, conducted a series of investigative actions, and proved the involvement of the 60-year-old resident of the Uman district in the crime.

The man admitted his guilt and apologized to the Jewish community and Hasidim for his posts.

He assured that there were no reasons from the Jewish side for such posts.

Currently, the investigation in the case has been completed, and the indictment has been sent to the Uman City-District Court.
